Print wrap

The selected direction laid flat on an indicative 8 oz die-line. Front and back are marked; the cup is glued at the side seam.

Print notes

  • Indicative size: 8 oz single-wall hot cup, Ø80 mm rim, Ø56 mm base, 92 mm tall. The wrap is drawn to these numbers; final artwork goes onto the supplier's own die-line.
  • 3 mm bleed and a 6 mm glue overlap. Nothing that must be read sits within 8 mm of the rim curl or the base fold.
  • The symbol and logo are placed whole from the Edition 02 kit files, upright and unaltered.
  • Anardana is matched by drawdown (PANTONE 1815 C or a #5B0202 match), as the kit sets out. The other colours use the kit's CMYK builds.
  • Lids: white stock lid on all three, or Chai Milk if the supplier tints lids.
  • Ink count: A three plus foil, B five, C three.
  • The Instagram and Facebook glyphs are drawn stand-ins for review. The final artwork places Meta's official glyph files.
  • The bin symbol asks people to put the cup in a bin. It makes no recycling claim: most councils do not take plastic-lined paper cups in kerbside recycling, so a recycling or compostable mark needs the supplier's material confirmed first.

  • [CONFIRM: cup supplier, size, and single or double wall]
  • [CONFIRM: whether the supplier can foil the dot and print a second Anardana hit or spot gloss. Direction A depends on both; the fallback is a Ghee ink dot and a double-wall cup with the loop blind-embossed.]
  • [CONFIRM: how many print colours the supplier allows. Direction B needs five.]
  • [CONFIRM: the supplier's die-line file, so the chosen direction can be set to it as vector artwork]
  • [CONFIRM: the cup's lining. If the supplier's cup is certified recyclable or compostable, the bin can be swapped for the matching mark; the Australasian Recycling Label also needs an APCO assessment.]
